WHO WE ARE

We are workers, parents, and teachers. We are dedicated to our local communities and to our nation. We know that by finding common ground and working through our disagreements, we can improve the lives of all Americans.

"I teach my students how to be civil, have healthy debates, and to disagree respectfully. These are skills I teach students the classroom. I don't think it's too much to expect the same behavior from elected officials."

Our teachers want a return to politics where democracy, compromise and healthy debate are valued once again too.

We are not politicians, but we teach politics. We instill in our students the value of critical thinking, of questioning what is true, and of disagreeing while remaining civil. It matters that our legislators value these things too.

Prioritizing patient care over partisan politics.

Nurses and doctors understand the complexities of the healthcare system and support politicians willing to work across party lines to implement effective reforms.

Healthcare workers value ongoing education and adaptation to new information in their field, and expect politicians to be open to learning and changing stances based on new evidence.

Medical professionals often see the direct impact of policy decisions on patient care and community health, making them advocates for practical, results-oriented political approaches.

We need to prioritize practical improvements in working conditions and workers' rights over ideological posturing.

"Tell me how you are going to improve things for my family. Don't point fingers. Get things done."
